PLTW Teaching at Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School
Project Lead the Way (PLTW), a credit program in collaboration with Stevenson University that focuses on the human body systems. Here, you see students pipetting samples to run on a DNA gel. These are mainly 10th to 12th grade elective students and the classes involve microscope (cell system)- and molecular biology laboratories.
I assisted the students in their groups with instruction on the body systems, their various assignments, including determination of bones.
I prepared the DNA gel electrophoresis laboratory for the students and helped them run the gels and with the analysis of the bands.
